Heyd Fontenot is a Texas-based multidisciplinary artist and curator whose career has included roles in advertising, theater, television, film and digital media, as a graphic artist, set designer, art director and producer. He has held positions as Director of CentralTrak (2011-2016), UTDallas' international artists' residency program and exhibition space, and was recently appointed as Director of the San Antonio non-profit art space Sala Diaz where he was previously a Casa Chuck resident artist (2019). Kristian Salinas is a native-born Houstonian raised in Alvin and is a graduate of UT Austin's esteemed Radio-TV-Film program. Involved in nearly every facet of the entertainment industry, Kristian began his career with The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston's Film Department, followed by a turn as Artistic Director of Rice University Media Center's Rice Cinema. Kristian's 25 year history with QFest: The Houston International LGBTQ Film Festival began in 1996 as a member of the festival's founding Advisory Committee. He now serves as the festival's Executive and Artistic Director, and will mark QFest's 25th anniversary July 22 through July 26, 2021.
Dennis Nance is the Curator for the Galveston Arts Center where he organizes exhibitions featuring work by contemporary artists from Texas and the Gulf Coast region. From 2007 to 2016, Nance was Exhibitions & Programming Director for Lawndale Art Center in Houston, Texas, where he worked extensively with local and regional artists through exhibitions and the Lawndale Artist Studio Program. Nance is a past member of the Artist Advisory Board for DiverseWorks and BOX 13 ArtSpace artist member.
