In conjunction with Nastassja Swift's exhibition, Canaan: when I read your letter, I feel your voice, join us for an artist talk and conversation with Ann Johnson, artist and Black Box Press Foundation (BBPF) Programs Manager. Swift is one of the inaugural recipients of BBPF's Art as Activism Award. The award is a targeted initiative to bring focus to how art can be used as a captivating means of shifting perspectives, changing mindsets, and evoking powerful emotions which can have a broad effect on the landscape and discourse around social justice in the world.
