Grab your sketchbook, because in this class we’re going to fill those pages up! Starting with that all-important artists’ tool, students will practice, experiment, fail, try again, push through difficulty, surprise themselves, and ultimately grow as artists. The instructor will have students drawing from observation every week both in and out of class until they are so comfortable they can easily draw anything. Whether they are interested in realism or any other style of drawing, they will improve using tried and true methods and exercises on real-world subjects that will teach them how to execute their own ideas with confidence.
