Lunchtime Dream Nap with Emily Sloan

  • Galveston Arts Center 2127 Strand Galveston United States (map)

In conjunction with Amber Eagle’s exhibition, Nap Dreams, artist and founder of Napping Affects Performance (NAP) Emily Sloan will lead a community lunchtime nap. Pillows and blankets will be available on a first come first served basis, along with yoga mats from our friends at The Yoga Haven. Doors will close at 12:10 PM to avoid unsettling the nap time. Doors will reopen around 1PM. Participants are encouraged to bring their own favorite pillows, blankets and journal or sketchbooks.

About Napping Affects Performance: Napping Affects Performance (NAP) is a performance and participation project providing community naps (since 2009) in collaboration with various performances, including (but not limited to) collaborations with sound, word, touch, and the delivery of naps to various sites and/or contexts.
