Digital Arts Club

This club offers a vibrant space for students to showcase their digital masterpieces, exchange ideas, and immerse themselves in the captivating worlds of anime, manga, and Studio Ghibli films. From spirited discussions to inspiring screenings of carefully curated films, students will delve into the rich tapestry of artistic design and storytelling that defines these beloved genres. Under the guidance of experienced artist Kay Sandoval, participants will explore the influence of digital art in contemporary culture and learn how to harness their creativity to build impressive portfolios reflective of their interests and passions. Join us on a journey of artistic discovery and expression in the Digital Art Club, where imagination takes center stage and possibilities are endless!

No materials are provided for this class. Students are encourage to bring their own devices and tools. Some consumable materials will be available for use during club meetings.

POLICIES

• ENROLLMENT DEADLINE:  March 13 2024

  Late enrollment may be accepted, Drop in students welcome with director approval.

• In the rare event of cancellation due to unavoidable circumstances, a reasonable effort will be made to schedule a make-up class session on an alternate date, or the class fee (less any classes already held) will be credited to the customer’s account.

• Group communications/announcements are conducted by email to the address entered at registration. Individual communications may be handled by phone/text.
  
  
  

SCHOLARSHIPS
Teachers, counsellors, etc. may nominate a student with whom they are professionally acquainted for a partial scholarship if they can attest to the the student’s interest in the subject and financial need. The student’s parent/legal guardian will be notified and given further instructions. You may not nominate your own child, dependent, or other close relation.

GAC Members enjoy 20% off of tuition. You must sign in with the email associated with your membership account to receive the discount. Full-time students, teachers/professors, and parents who homeschool can join at the Student/Educator level for just $30/year.

For liability reasons, please do not register a student who is a minor unless you are their parent or legal guardian.
