ONE DAY CAMP

Recommended grades K-5

9:00am - 4:00p  

This year GAC is hosting One-Day Art Camp, a day designed for students in grades K-5. This camp offers a unique opportunity for young artists to explore their creativity, connect with friends, and create a variety of art projects. Over the course of the day, participants will delve into a range of artistic mediums, learn new techniques, and most importantly, a day filled with imagination and fun!

CLASS FORMAT

This class is conducted in Galveston Arts Center’s studio classroom located on the second floor of GAC.


POLICIES

  • Deadline for enrollment is the Monday before the scheduled One-Day Camp. Late enrollment is permitted, however supplies may not be available by the first class for late enrollees.

  • Participant cancellation policy: missed or cancelled classes will not be refunded.

  • In the rare event of GAC cancellation due to unavoidable circumstances, we will make every effort to schedule a make-up session on an alternate date.

  • Group communications are conducted through email. Please check your inbox for announcements.

Pricing

Regular tuition: $75
GAC Members: $60

All materials included. Please send your child with a packed lunch each day.

 
 

DISCOUNTS
GAC Members enjoy 20% off of tuition. You must sign in with the email associated with your membership account to receive the discount. Full-time students, teachers/professors, and parents who homeschool can join at the Student/Educator level for just $30/year.

For liability reasons, please do not register a student who is a minor unless you are their parent or legal guardian.

SCHOLARSHIPS & FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Teachers, counsellors, etc. may nominate a student with whom they are professionally acquainted for a scholarship if they can attest to the the student’s interest in the subject and financial need. The student’s parent/legal guardian will be notified and given further instructions. You may not nominate your own child, dependent, or other close relation. GAC also offers financial assistance in an effort to ensure art education stay accessible to all families. Contact GAC’s education director to learn more!
